Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and the developer of Goldie! for using the app, its community features, and this website. Creating an account means you accept them. They are short on purpose — please actually read them.

1. Who can use it

Anyone can play Goldie!. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the community features. If you are under the age at which your country lets you agree to terms like these yourself, a parent or guardian must agree for you.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for what is done with it. Keep your password to yourself. You can delete your account at any time in the app's settings, which removes it and your content as described in the privacy policy.

3. Your levels stay yours

You own the levels, comments and other content you create. By publishing content, you give us the permission we need to host it, show it to other players, let them play and rate it, and display your maker byline with it. That permission ends for a level when you unpublish or delete it, except for copies already on players' devices.

4. Community rules — no tolerance

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior in Goldie!. Do not publish, name, or write anything that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or that targets another person. Do not impersonate others, spam the feed, cheat leaderboards, or attempt to break the service.

Content that breaks these rules will be removed and the account that posted it may be suspended or terminated without warning. In-app tools let you report any level or comment and block any player; blocking hides all of their content from you. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.

5. Fair limits

To keep the service healthy for everyone, community actions are rate-limited — publishing, commenting, and sending. The app tells you the limit whenever you reach one.

6. Gold and characters

In-game gold and characters are game features with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for money and may be adjusted as part of game balancing. Purchases, where offered, are handled by the App Store under its own terms.

7. The service

Goldie!'s campaign plays entirely offline and needs no service at all. The community features are provided "as is", free, by one developer: they may change, pause, or end. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost data beyond what the law requires — and nothing in these terms limits rights the law does not let us limit.

8. Ending the agreement

You can end it by deleting your account. We can suspend or end accounts that break section 4, and we can discontinue the service. The privacy policy describes what happens to data in each case.

9. Changes

If these terms change materially, the app will ask you to accept the new version before you keep using the community features. The date above always reflects the current version.
